On 25 January 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries issued a press release on the signing of an agreement to transport agricultural products through the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic have signed an agreement to open another new transportation channel for the export of Cambodian agricultural products, especially to the Chinese market.
